Bastard LITB.com! I wish i'd known about them on Fri, I ordered a Pats Jersey for my Dad, and now i'm pretty convinced that it will be a shitty fake. I only want a screen printed replica, but I obvs want it to be OFFICIAL REEBOK NFL GEAR! To my horror, I only noticed after I had ordered, that nowhere on their website is REEBOK mentioned! The picture they are using is of an official Reebok NFL pats replica screenprinted jersey, but I bet thats not what they send out to customers! All the "feedback" comments said how wonderful the Jerseys were, though the apalling use of the english language makes me think that the company just employs ppl to leave this "feedback". Another interesting thing i noticed was that, like I said, the picture they were using on the website was of an official Reebok NFL pats replica screenprinted jersey, but the "feedback" underneath was claiming that these jersey were the Authentic $200-$250 jerseys with everything stitched! I think I have been rather stupid :-( Here's how they're advertising the pats jersey:

http://www.lightinthebox.com/Tom-Brady-New-England-Patriots-12-Navy-Blue-NFL-Jersey--GLQF201-_p27196.html

I've now found loads of online forums where ppl are complaining about this website, and the trouble they've had with knock-off/broken products etc! How the hell are they Paypal verified!?!?!?!

Anyways, after learning the error of my ways, I am currently trying to get them to cancel the order and refund my money. The fobbing-off has started already! Headache ahead I feel! And probably NO REFUND :-( "its currently Chinese new year, so we have no customer service staff to deal with your request till Feb 1st" etc. I tell you what, they certainly had staff available 4 days ago to take my money! All's I want them to do is cancel my order and refund my cash, though from what others have said, I feel I may not get my money back.

On the brightside, I've managed top get an official reebok/NFL licensed Pats "Brady" replica Jersey ordered now. btw, I found the youtube video on how to spot fake jerseys today, very useful! Nice one Very Happy

Did you pay with Paypal? If so, im pretty sure that you will be able to raise a claim through them to try and get the transaction refunded

I'm afraid that the web is full of these Chinese counterfeiters, lightinthebox is attempting to avoid prosecution by not mentioning Reebok or the NFL. I'm p*ssed that the google ads that appear at the top of the site show lightinthebox from time to time. Ironic or what? It's easier for the fakers to produce a jersey with sewn numbers as the just need people who can sew, whereas the cheaper screenprinted jersey requires expensive machinery which makes it money back over time. The fakers want quick easy bucks.

Niners is right though mate, if you used paypal then demand that they refund your money as the jersey is not what you expected it to be. If they tell you to return the jersey, tell them that the jersey is counterfeit and that it's against the law to send counterfeit good through the post, they'll back down and you should get all your money back.

Thanks guys! I'm glad i'm a bit more savvy when it comes to NFL Jerseys now! I doubt I'll get ripped-off in the future! Very Happy

I'm glad I found this site as the info on here is extremely helpful, i've learnt a hell of a lot about spotting fake jerseys and dodgy sellers over the last few days, so a big thumbs up and thankyou! Smile

I shall keep badgering rip-offinthebox.com, I did pay via Paypal, so hopefully I should be able to get my money back, even if I do have to scare them into refunding me!!!

Cheers again guys afro

HI! After starting a Paypal dispute, shitinthebox.com are still refusing to refund my money! Do you guys think its worth turning the dispute into a Paypal claim??? Here is a link to the item on their website:

http://www.lightinthebox.com/Tom-Brady-New-England-Patriots-12-Navy-Blue-NFL-Jersey--GLQF201-_p27196.html

The shirt I have received is most defnately a fake authentic! But according to them its now a "quality immitation" and not a fake! I want to get my money back as the product is not what I ordered and I feel like I have been ripped-off! Any advice guys?????
