I'm New!

Hi guys and gals, y name is Eric and I'm new here. I discovered the website through a bidder's received feedback on eBay!

I've seen videos on YouTube about how to spot fakes, etc. So I was a bit skeptical when I first came to the website. However, I am very impressed with the knowledge here--more than YouTube could ever offer.

At any rate, I'm happy to be here, and I look forward to contributing any help I might be able to offer on fakes. My self-appointed area of expertise is in game worn items--Football pants and jerseys, especially--as that's what I sell most of on eBay.

I know I've been hosed once or twice. There are two things that tend to infuriate me with sellers on eBay: 1.) FAKES 2.) Over-priced game worn items of insignificant to moderately significant players.

It's nice to meet everyone, and I look forward to a tremendous learning experience here!

I've been collecting game worn NFL and college jerseys and pants for about eight or nine years now, and I do have my favorites, too lol.

I'll have to post some pics from my personal collection here.

On a side note, you're from Kent?! My grandmother grew up in Kent; my grandfather in Rugby. Still have a few distant relatives in England. That's really cool!

I posted a thread on how to add a picture, it's just under the NFC Helmets. That will show you how to do it.

It's a small world really isn't it. Where in Kent is your Grandmother from?

Jeez, I wish I could remember. She passed away 10 years ago now. I'll have to ask my aunt or my mother, as either of them probably remember. I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Hi Runnings! It's nice to meet you. Yes, I'm afraid you'll be envying my collection; though I do share some of it for a reasonable price on eBay...That is until I get around to exploring around here some more, and II might post a few to sell on here
