I think that Moss is fake. What happened to the silver around the sleeve numbers?

Hmmm. I bought it used from jerseys4thewin on ebay which i have been told is legit. Any other opinions? If it is a fake i will get my money back.

The actual game jerseys have silver on the shoulder letters.

Where did you get the Romo from? It's got the wrong swing tag. The Moss looks ok apart from the sleeve numbers. I reckon it's a second.

Isn't the sleeve star supposed to be screened on as well?

Also on the Moss, the sleeve vector looks funny and the material on the neck looks nothing like mine.

I bought the Romo from Football Fanatics. Geez am i gonna have to return both of them?

OK, I was wrong about the Cowboys having screened on stars. Billsfan is right though, that is a newer tag with the new NFL shield but the jersey itself has the old NFL shield on it.

Fire what it's worth, I have a White Raiders jersey from the same era and it looks almost identical, aside from the silver layer and vector which Billsfan noted. The fabric is strange around the shoulders. It's not the usual dazzle fabric, and mine came from windycity, so I'd assume is legit. I'd be inclined to agree with billsfan that it could be seconds.

I'd have thought the Romo was legit but I don't know nearly as much as "the two wisemen" above! Could it just have been re-tagged?

Hope they both turn out to be legit - you'll have yourself a couple of nice jerseys!

I think the Romo has been retagged, there seems to be a fair bit of this happening at the moment. I'm not sure if it's Reebok doing it or the sellers themselves, but it sure is weird.

That they will have had minor defects during production to the extent that Reebok won't be able to sell them for full RRP. There is still nothing wrong with the overall jersey, and if you're happy with it (and by the sounds of it wouldn't have even noticed) then great. If you live in the UK, "seconds" for designer labels often wind up in TK Maxx (Marshalls is probably the closest in the US) or outlets.

You'll notice a lot of replica seconds on eBay, where they have printed the wrong name / number on a jersey, or the printing has been done with a fold in the jersey, so there is a crack.

I think that has more to do with the relative popularity of Randy Moss, more than anything else. I've seen some really bad jerseys on eBay go for some astonishing prices.
