Paid $25 more than I wanted to, but still a bargain at this price, even...DaaaaBears got EXTREMELY lucky in his find, and I still congratulate him on that!

| Nice one, no wonder you're letting the Steve Smith go. | |

| Well, I have other reasons for that, too. After doing my taxes this year, I owe the federal government what amounts to a few weeks' pay, so I'm hoping I can get a decent amount from that to put towards what I owe on taxes. I'm not depending on it, but anything can help at this point.
I've been in search of a Penn State gamer at a decent price for 2 or 3 years now, and I do feel that what I got this one for is about as good as it will get at this time. But I'm very happy with it, and can't wait 'til it gets home! Then in the fall, I'll take it with me back to Penn State, lol.

| Nothing like wearing a gamer to a home game eh? | |

Absolutely! And I'll be with one of the Alumni Association chapters on April 24th for the Penn State Blue-White game. And it'll also be good for the home games that PSU declares a "White Out."

| Which for anyone who might be unfamiliar, a white out is when the entire student body and fanbase dress in white, as an intimidation factor to the opponent. | |

I can't wait to see it in person! It looks amazing on TV, I can only imagine what it looks like actually being there! And Beaver Stadium is still the biggest college football stadium in the country...Not sure if it's bigger than the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium, but it rivals that, with a seating capacity of 110,000 and change.

| Nice pickup bud! That's still not a bad deal at all considering it's a gamer. I'm actually surprised you got it at that price, every time the Illinois athletic department puts a game worn jersey up for auction the price skyrockets.
I remember watching the white-out game back in 08 when we were on the road. We started off great, but once you guys started slowing down Juice it was all over...

I remember watching the white-out game back in 08 when we were on the road. We started off great, but once you guys started slowing down Juice it was all over... I don't think I saw that game, as I was a newcomer / prospective student in '08. I did get to see the game we played at Ohio State with the student body at the campus I'll be starting out at. It was a GREAT time! Yeah, I thought no way in the world would I get that one for under $200, which I had my max bid set at, so I was amazed...It's the same way with gamers at NFL auctions, too. The jerseys on there usually go through the roof! I also found a white gamer on eBay, and subsequently won that one too the other night, lol. I had placed a bid on that one figuring I'd likely be outbid on the one through the PSU athletic site's auction. Paid about the same for it, too, so comparatively, I got two for the price of one that I usually see on eBay. So I should be getting both jerseys later this week. Here's the second addition to my PSU fam, lol. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200454547973&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT Now I am TOTALLY set for home games!

| Lol I'm curious why Penn State doesn't wear white when they have a white-out. | |

They should, right? That makes sense!... I'll have to see if I can find out why. Great point DaaaaBears!

| Nice jersey. And that stadium is insane! I couldn't imagine something that big, with that many people in it. I've read that it makes the city one of the highest populated cities in Pennsylvania when its gameday. | |

Yes, I think it makes it the third-largest city on game day; 107,000 and change when it's filled to capacity! There's an article about the sound on game day that I'll link to this thread presently.

| And I WILL post pics of those two jerseys over the weekend; perhaps Sunday. Been very busy writing on all this draft stuff. Can't BELIEVE the Panthers took Jimmy Clausen. Wasted pick that soon, IMO. Would have rather had Golden Tate. | |
