Hi I apologise if this has been asked/discussed before.

When ordering from the nfl shop do you get stung on customs?

Looking to buy a bo jackson jersey for the superbash and although i should have it by then I'm concerned customs might delay it/charge for it

I havent ordered myself, but from what I have read you almost certainly would be charged customs/handling.

almost 100% certain you will get stung

Just got my authentic Brady jersey (pictures to follow shortly) from NFL.com and ouchhhhhhh!

£69.99 custom charges , the jersey with delivery only cost £160 ($230).

I tell you what though, i soon forgot about it when i opened the box.

The quality of an authentic compared to anything i ever owned previously was worth it.....as a one off, wouldn't do it again though.

PS got the jersey within about a week with no delays, sent via UPS with tracking facilities available.

I would certainly query that! Should be 17.5% VAT plus handling charge.

Did they give you a break down? I have read in the past of FedEx adding some extortionate "Freight" charge on some deliveries.

For future ref, check out FansEdge, where you can pay up fromt all Customs and Duty, which helps as it can cut out handling charges.
