| Hey guys!
As a jersey collector I think this site is a very useful tool. However, while looking through the trusted seller thread, I came across this jersey http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-NEW-YORK-GIANTS-ELI-MANNING-REEBOK-JERSEY-56-/120614475259?pt=US_Football_Fan_Shop&hash=item1c152ed5fb
This is clearly a fake, and the other jerseys they are selling seem questionable as well. Like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-COLTS-EDGERRIN-JAMES-REEBOK-JERSEY-54-/350389080917?pt=US_Football_Fan_Shop&hash=item5194d11355
But then others look legit, like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-NEW-ORLEANS-SAINTS-BROOKS-REEBOK-JERSEY-52-/120614479459?pt=US_Football_Fan_Shop&hash=item1c152ee663
I would look into this and question their credibility.

| Welcome to the forum,
I've had a good look at the Manning and James jerseys and I'm afraid I have to disagree with you. I'm sure that they are genuine. Looking at the ball in the NFL logo in the jocktags, they are both well shaped and not like the fakes from the period these were made.
The thing with these single layer number teams is that they are difficult to be sure and are prone to wrinkling, making them look like they could be fake. All the multi layered numbered jerseys look good and I think it's more than likely the camera angle and flash reflection on them. I'm happy to leave the seller on the legit lists.
I'd be interested to see what other members think though.

| Thanks for the welcome! This site is great! I just don't know about that Manning. I have an authentic from the NFL shop, this stitching on that one seems way too thick and the letters on the name are bubbling, mine isn't. I know repeated washes can cause that but this just doesn't seem to be the case. The problem I have with the James jersey is the vneck NFL logo, it's not sewn on properly. It's hard to tell from the photos though, to me they do look suspect. | |

I see what you are saying, I think it's just the way it's been laid out which makes the Vneck look off. I always look at the footballs. The counterfeits never have managed to get those right, they are always squashed and not ball shaped. The genuine ones always have ball shaped balls in the NFL logo's and these look spot on to me.
