On the penguins winter classic jerseys, there are two big giveaways.

1 The penguin logo on the jerseys was inside a pittsburgh gold (yellow gold) triangle, while many fakes have the vegas gold penguin found on the more modern shirts (post 1995-ish).

2. THE LACES ON THE REPLICA JERSEYS ARE BLUE NOT WHITE. The Pens players opted for white laces, but the reebok replicas came with blue ones.
