San Francisco 49ers - Does anybody know...?

I've got a couple of questions about the San Francisco 49ers previous home jersey:- (the one with the 49ers logos on the arms)

If anyone owns one or has had one and can help out i'd be most grateful.

1) Was the jersey more burgundy looking than red?
2) Did it ever include the 4-stars version of the neck tag?

I think they changed in 2009, so yes - the 4 star NFL Equipment logo would have been included on the older style jerseys in 2008.

In terms of colour, I always thought it was a slightly deeper red than they currently wear - but I definitely wouldn't say it was burgundy. I guess it depends on the light. Check the following 2 (both legit, from fullmoon) to see what I mean:

Thanks, i've actually just received that Willis jersey from that seller (spooky) and wanted to check it was all legit.
The colour of the jersey is not the same as the Willis pic but it is the same as deeper red of his vernon davis jersey.
i'll post some pics up in the latest pickup over the weekend.
