New 2012 jerseys

Does anyone know when the new Nike jerseys are to be released? I'd really like a customised Pats jersey but am waiting for the new Nike range as there don't seem to be any good deals on authentic Reebok, so may as well get the new one.

Nike take over in April, a month or so to wait.

Well the Panthers have tweaked their logo and the Jags are going to be wearing black instead of teal, it's the Seahawks who are changing the most.

They are keeping it a secret, but I heard that the logo has been sharpened up a bit.

I'm bored of waiting now haha I've seen the new nike kits for Man Utd, Barcelona and Arsenal on the net the other day. Apparently Nike held a private showing of new products but as of yet no leaked NFL jerseys

Apparently the new kits are gonna be revealed on April 3rd, according to @Patriot1stDown on Twitter

Does anyone know if the prices for the jerseys will remain the same and what are the 3 types of jersey gonna be ?


I heard something about iron on numbers , are these just like the numbers from a EQT jersey but will be pressed onto the jersey without stitching ?

I understand that there will be 3 types of jersey, same as Reebok. Iron on numbers are thicker than screen print and look like the old vinyl numbers.

Also how long do you reckon until the jerseys go on sale after April 3rd ... Do you think Nike will be making the jerseys now so they are available within April ?

Sorry for not replying sooner. I will try to get some pictures of the numbers, but they are a lot thicker than the screen print so you wouldn't see the mesh behind them. Nike will have been in production for some time now, you can expect jerseys for the more popular players available on April 3rd.

The image below has my 91 Eagles jersey with vinyl numbers on the left and my 98 Nike replica on the right. You can see the vinyl is much thicker and just looks better quality.

The material on the old Nikes is much nicer than Reeboks knock of replicas. I've got a game cut Wilson jersey with vinyl numbers and that holds up pretty well.
