Redskins deal with Rams, move to #2 in draft

The Washington Redskins acquired the No. 2 overall pick in April's NFL Draft on Friday from the St. Louis Rams by sending first rounders in 2012, '13 and '14 and a second-round pick this year to the Rams, league sources told Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer on Friday.

Looks like the Skins will finally get a QB and take Griffin.

Wow thats a big sacrifice seeing as they would have picked up Ryan Tannehill as number 6 pick. The Rams will be licking their lips at the draft with 3 of the first 38 picks

This is another awful deal from Dan Snyder. This is great news! I love to see the Redskins fail.

I don't really like RG III playing against the Eagles twice a season for the next decade, but I think the Redskins gave up too much. It will be interessting to see if they pick up one of the high price recievers in free agency, since they have pretty much cap space left.

A very risky deal and i think it's a fail,you are out of 1st rounders until 2015 and if RGIII turns out to be anything less than a stud at QB it's going to be one of the worst deals made

Tannehill was far too big of a risk to be picked at 6. He's played less than 18 games as a QB. The Redskins were desperate for a QB though, Grossman is awful!
