What The Buc?

I was under the impression the tweaks to the uni were going to be minor - especially after seeing that the helmet change a couple of weeks ago was not a huge departure from their current style. Had no idea they were going to change so much of it!

Gutted that they have done away with the pewter pants. I think the number font is definitely the worst part though. The digital style doesn't fit with the old style pirate flag at all.

They are releasing more pics at 2pm EST apparently, so will be interested to see some more pics, and what the alt jersey(s) look like. I'm sure they will grow on me, but definitely not a fan just now.

I actually thought the picture was of an arena league team when I just glanced at the uni on the nfl.com homepage.

I'm just as disappointed as you, my friend. Seems that we have maybe seen the end of the creamsicle jerseys.

They just released more pics of the unis. I originally thought the pants / shoulders were black, but they're definitely pewter, which is a big relief. I actually don't mind them, or at least I wouldn't if they'd used a different font. I'm not saying they should have stuck with the old font, as that would look out of place for sure, but just not a fan of the new font at all.

Oh man, that is pretty horrible. I could probably live with them if it wasn't for that terrible font. The outgoing uni was streets ahead of this. I didn't like the Seahawks unis when they first came out, they've grown on me, these will not. Damn it Nike, stop messing with this stuff.

After seeing the awesome helmets I had high hopes for the jerseys only to be dissapointed. Looks straight Arena/ gimmicky college football jersey. Honestly so far I have yet to see a Nike designed jersey that I think is actually better than what it replaced. Nike is ruining NFL. Also what is up with the shortening of the team names on the jerseys (Jags, Bucks..) doesn't make sense to me actually makes the team seem like a lesser no name team who has to use nicknames to be popular (just my opinion).
