Freeman Bucs Nike Team Issued

Freeman obviously had a bad break-up with the Bucs last year, but I had a soft spot for him after he almost took us to the playoffs in 2010. It's hard enough to find Reebok gamers for the Bucs, so I definitely can't be choosy about player - especially not for a QB cut jersey. One thing I was surprised with is just how much lighter they are than the Reebok predecessors. It's much lighter than the Elites.

Thanks man! Aside from the weight of the jersey, the other thing that struck me was the size difference. I'm pretty sure Freeman wore a 48 in the Reeboks, but this is a 44. It's definitely comparable to the Reebok 48s though, so they must have changed the way they determine measurements.

Other than being light does the material feel the same as an Elite?

Okay now THAT is a nice jersey, pity the white jerseys don't normally look as good on me

No, it doesn't. The gamers are definitely made of a lighter material. They're similar so you can tell they are made of the same material but in different proportions.

I think it makes sense though. I could imagine the lightweight jerseys would appeal to players but at the same time, I would be pretty pissed to drop $250 on a Nike Elite and have it feeling wafer thin. I wasn't sure about the feel and cut of the Elites at first, but I'm starting to think Nike got it right....
