Redskins Out, Bears in for Peppers

Pretty much what it says, lol.

Pep is on his way to Halas Hall, and has a great interest to play on the same defense as Brian Urlacher.

With the Bears likely keeping Tommie Harris, this could make for a very formidable Bears defense.

The bears are really making moves in the right direction.

They've got to do something, those players are ageing and the Skins have not brought a return for Schnider's cash. I raised an eyebrow when the tendered Jason Campbell.

The Campbell tendering kind of surprised me, but who's really attractive at QB in the free agent and even trade markets? No one, really. Stick with what you have, maybe Shanahan can do something with Campbell for one more year.

I think I was most surprised by the release of RB Ladell Betts and a couple of their defensive players.

The Skins pick at 4 and there will be some good QB prospects on the boards, I saw them going the way of the Lions and Jets in starting a rookie QB. I was surprised at Betts, saw him as a solid player for the Skins.

Like I told my co-host, Snyder probably thinks this is great competition for Campbell. Meanwhile, Shanahan is grimacing and gritting his teeth.
