| Hi guys,
Does anyone know if there is anywhere to get a nameplate manufactured, I have an old Maddox jersey that I would like to edit the name on the back but couldn't find anywhere online where you can just buy a nameplate?
Thanks Felix | |

| Felix,
They can be hard to come by, most collectors buy a cheap replica jersey and cut out a name plate from the shoulder material. If it's an authentic, then you can take the old one off and strip the letters off.
Getting hold of new letters is a bind. Several years back the NFL stopped customisers from changing existing jerseys and only allowed them to customise new jerseys. Bad move in my opinion, the jersey belongs to me when I've bought it and I should be able to do what I like with it.
eBay seller shaffer_sportswear has some material and numbers, check him out. | |

| Thanks for the insight, its a very strange situation. I would have thought that the NFL would have loved the opportunity to make a few extra quid selling customised nameplates. Also surprised that nobody has tried to make a buck selling them either, a good thing of course but just surprising! | |

| Not quite though, Billsfan. I bought a couple of game worn jerseys back in the fall that had no names or nameplates on them, and the team store sent both off to Berlin, Wisconsin where the game jerseys are manufactured, and had nameplates and my name put on them for $40 each, which included the shipping. If you're in the UK, you might have to pay more for shipping, but perhaps email or phone a team store, not NFL Shops, and inquire. It's worth a shot, anyway. Hope this helps! | |

| Has anyone got any further info on somewhere that will customise a blank jersey? I see there's Ravens blanks in my size on eBay and would get one if I could get the name/number put on at a later stage. | |
