Rodgers Super Bowl jersey, legit or fake?

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy my first nfl jersey after looking at buying one for a few years!
Seen this jersey on ebay and it looks pretty good, i have little knowledge on whether it is a fake jersey or not, so thought i'd post it here. I tried to assess the jock tag myself on the pictures but couldn't make my mind up. I'm not fussed if it's not an Authentic model, would be happy still if it's a Premier!

Welcome, the jersey is a fake, genuine jerseys do not have the superbowl patches on them. You can see little thread lines in between the swooshes of the Reebok vector logo classic fake sign. Also the NFL logos on the collar and jocktag are poorly done.

Cheers Billsfan, i appreciate your help, that shirt would have totalled £50 with postage! Looks like the only way i'm going to get a genuine shirt is if i buy one from the NFL shop but i don't really want to spend £70 on a new Nike 'game' shirt. Now i'm debating whether to risk getting a shirt from other than the official shop, even though i don't mind if the jersey is a few seasons old/second hand.

Awesome help again! Ideally i was looking for Matthews, Hawk, Jennings or Woodson but Rodgers is the most common my side of the pond and can't argue with MVP status. Also, would you recommend buying from America and getting shipping to England? One last question, do the Premier Reebok jersey's come with stitched numbers too? I may go for that level as they are slightly cheaper. I'll have to pass on the Favre, as i was too young to appreciate his career regrettably.

You're welcome, I have never had a problem buying from the US and having the jerseys shipped here, customs put a charge on one every now and again. The premier does have sewn numbers, but only a single layer. Premiers are not faked so any you find are going to be ok. They have the teams helmet on the jocktag so are easy to find.

Oh your in the UK too! Sorry i assumed you were in the states, i've had a good look at fullmoonjerseys items and there are some great jersey's, but i can't quite justify the £70+ for the jersey's, even though they have Matthews in a medium 48! Can you recommend any other sellers that are good? FMJ doesn't seem to have many mediums in a Premier model. Also, what sort of deal would you do for your Favre jersey? There's something about that iconic number 4 jersey...

Yeah i see what you mean, the postage is steep! I may give you a shout on that Favre jersey if i give up on my search, fair price for an authentic jersey.

Would this be a premier jersey, it has a team helmet on the jock tag and single layer sewn numbers, or another fake? Would really like a Matthews jersey, 3.5 sacks on Jay Cutler was great to watch!
