Shaun Alexander Reebok Authentic

My latest pickup is a Shaun Alexander Seattle Seahawks Reebok Home Authentic (48).

Cool.

Shiny/bubbly letters....crease in the sleeves....looks fake :s

The numbers arent really shiny and bubbly like the pictures make them seem. It was washed and dryed though which annoys me...

Ugh im so scared to wash any of my jerseys. The thought of it makes me twitch.

I know! This one isnt too bad. I have a Bernard Berrian that looks like it was washed weekly.

Most of my authentics have the sleeve crease. Is that a common thing to look for with fakes?

A lot of times the sleeve logo being creased is a sign of it being fake. In this case, it's not really creased, just rounded from it being folded. The numbers are shiny because the Seahawks use dazzle twill. It should also be really stiff too. Is it?

Yeah its the way they are packaged which is different from how the real authentics are packaged. Typically a fake will have a crease through the reebok symbol and the team logo. And i think i saw that Berrian of yours when you posted it so i know exactly what youre talking about with that one.

Yeah that dazzle twill gets me every time. But yeah maybe it was just folded and stored for a while because the team logo doesnt look like it was creased then pressed like the typical fakes.

+1 on the Super Bowl patch too. Snazzy.

that looks good! I customized a lime green seahawks alternate from nfl shop and i didnt get the dazzle twill numbers... i was pretty annoyed by that.

Seahawk jerseys have always been really bad azz through out all the years IMO. I love their Elites offered this year as well.
You'd think I would be a fan of the SeaChickens, being up here in the Great Northwest, but honestly the team annoys the $#&% out of me because they opt to play every friggn game on Fox over the years. Not to mention Hasselhoff and that goof troop S.Alexander just pissed me off over the years.
Killer jersey non the less and I being that it's the one from their Superbowl year, I love the idea of patching it up.

I personally would love to own a S.Springs one personally. Yeah a 2001 helmet tag S.Springs one would be too sick!

Expected to find a lot of Seahawks Reebok authentics going cheap after they changed the style so much but haven't found a single one yet

You described my dream jersey. The problem is finding those style of jerseys is next to impossible and they are always triple digit prices when you do.

Yeah I havent seen too many Seahawks jerseys going for deeply discounted prices.
