| Nice collection Rob. As a Bucs' fan, naturally the Nickerson is my favourite!
That's a cool story about the Clark jersey too. I'm keen to get a Bucs Nike gamer, but the prices for all of the Nike gamers is a bit high for me at the moment, given they are still scarce and I guess a lot of collectors are looking for them. Hopefully they'll start coming down over the next couple of years as more hit the market.

| Thanks guys! RJ3000, the Nickerson is from the 1st regular season game at the new Raymond James Stadium. I'm def a fan of the Bucs jerseys, been tryin to find a Nickerson "cream sickle" and a red gamer. I agree with you on the new Nike's, really overpriced but like you said, they should come down in price in the next few years. | |

| Here are most of my Bucs gamers. I have probably 6 or 7 others not in that picture:

The bottom left creamsicle is a 95 gamer, which I had customized to a Nickerson. The creamsicle gamers are scarce to say the least, so figured this was my best shot. I made a thread about the customization, if you're interested.

When it comes to gamers, I believe in retaining the integrity of the original jersey. You'll see from the original pictures of the jerseys that they basically had to be stripped and re-done. The existing numbers were helpful though, as meant I could match the twill and stitching etc.

| They look really good! Can't even tell they were stripped down. Have you seen the Nickerson practice jersey on eBay by any chance? If so what are your thoughts? The size tag seems off too me, think they used number sizes rather than letters. That's been the only reason I've been hesitant on it. | |

| Thanks! It was also helpful that one of the blanks was a #59, which gave me the perfect sizes for cutting the new #56 (since the 6 is just an upside-down 9 in the font the Bucs use.)
I had seen the Nickerson practice jersey. I thought about buying for it for a while, but to be honest the practice jerseys don't really do much for me, so I decided against it.
In terms of sizing, anything you think you know about a players size seems to go out of the window when it comes to training camp / practice, as you see players wearing really loose jerseys, as well as extra layers underneath etc. The year tag on the jersey is 95, and Nickerson wore #56 in 1994 and 1995. The screened numbers obviously can't be removed and changed, and I can't imagine anyone would have had numbers painted on a blank practice jersey. So if it is a Bucs jersey, it would have been Nickerson's.
In terms of the lettering for sizes, I'm not sure about that. It could be that Russell just did this for practice jerseys? They definitely use numbers for the actual game jerseys. Russell Athletic did definitely make the Bucs gamers in 95 (all of my creamsicle gamers are Russell athletics from 95) so it seems to add up.
My only other thought was maybe it's not a Bucs jersey and it's actually a college / high school jersey. However, given the brand and colours seem to match-up, it is more than likely a Bucs jersey. The font is also spot-on, albeit it's a fairly standard font. I don't think you can go too far wrong with it given the bid price anyway.
Hope this helps. | |

| Helps out quite a bit, thanks I'm pretty new to the practice jersey collecting, a friend of mine up by Pittsburgh told me the steelers were having a tent sale and picked me up a couple. A week or two later I went up and was like a kid in a candy store haha. Steelers release nothing to the public and you couldn't beat $15 for a jersey. I def prefer a game worn jersey but ill take just about anything coming straight from the steelers. | |

| I definitely hear ya regarding the jerseys being tough to come by - the Bucs are the same. I don't know the exact details, but some time around 2001/02 (which was when they made the switch from Adidas gamers, to Reebok) a lot of the old Adidas gamers flooded the market. They're fairly easy to come by, so you can get gamers of lesser known players for under $100.
Since then, the Reeboks are almost impossible to come by as they are not made available to the public and the Bucs don't have an agreement with the likes of JO Sports to sell their gamers. The jerseys from the 2009 and 2011 International Series jerseys were sold through NFL Auctions (I'm assuming this is part of the agreement, as this happens every year). I have 4 or 5 of these, but otherwise the Reeboks have pretty much been on lock-down. So you can imagine how pumped I was to land the Ronde creamsicle gamer (un-used throwback from the 2009 season).
I've not heard of the Bucs having tent sales, but I know a number of the other teams do. I would love to make it if they did though. Pretty sure I'd suffer the same kid in candy store effect!
