There used to be several companies in the US who could do custom work, either working with a blank or stripping an old jersey and putting on a new player. Then the NFL took away the licence to do this from these companies, unless you bought a new jersey to be customised. Not one of the NFL's best moves in terms of their fans, makes business sense I suppose, but the jerseys I own are my property and I should be able to do what I like with them.
I have about 3 blanks left over from when the changed the licence. I have 3 with a customiser who got into trouble and I probably won't see them again, but that's another story.
Some friends in the US have found small places that will do the work, but this is under the counter and they won't give up their sources in fear of the NFL shutting the operation down.
There isn't anywhere in the UK that does this type of work that I've been able to find.
