What to look for when buying your next Authentic jersey.

Ok, last time I promise! You are just much better at this than I am and like you said, if you put down the money, you want to make sure it's the real deal. I emailed this guy about any other Randy Moss jerseys because the one on eBay I could just not afford. He told me that he did not have any other RM jerseys, but said he would sell it to me for $150 after I told him that was the most I could pay. He guarantees his jerseys are 100% authentic or your money back, but he asked if he could send me an invoice through PayPal to avoid eBay's fees. I'm afraid if I do this and the jersey for some reason is not authentic, I'm stuck with a fake. Suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks once again!

Just wanted to check something out. The white players inc tag on authentics is usualy a sign of a fake jersey. However i believe they were used on the jerseys released for sale on the international market eg the wembley games is this correct?

Erm..I don't know to be honest. The tag was replaced by the NFLPA logo being part of the hem tag as far as I know. The tag and hologram are different for the international market. Have you seen these tags on genuine jerseys lately then?

I just bought a dolphins porter jersey off runnings via the marketplace on this site. The jersey looks 100% legit to me but it does have the white players inc tag as well as the international tag and hologram.

I checked the hem tag, vector logos and the shield and they all look great, i know the jersey originaly comes from a seller on the legit list. Its just the white players tag just made me make a double take so just wanted a bit of reassurance. (i still consider myself a relative noobie at spotting fakes)

Sadly there are VERY few places where you can buy an authentic jersey nowdays. If the price is too good to be true, its probably fake. Really your safest bet for a real jersey is nflshop.com, your teams official online store, places like sports authority, dicks sporting goods, modells, and nike's official website. If you can manage to acquire "the eye" to decipher between real and fake jerseys then ebay is your best bet for getting a good price on a jersey. I got an authentic Desean Jackson eagles jersey on ebay for $40. But I also posted the item number here on the forum to get a second opinion before i purchased it. Find a jersey you think is real on ebay after looking at the "how to spot a fake" section on here, then post the ebay item number in the correct section of the forum and we will help you the best we can!
